RADIO VERITAS IS AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT AFRICA IS BRINGING TO THE WORLD - APOSTOLIC NUNCIO
Saturday 26 October was celebration day at Radio Veritas as it marked its 20th anniversary. In a speech at the end of Holy Mass attended by Radio Veritas donors, current and former staff members, Dominican priests, and the Catholic community, the main celebrant Apostolic Nuncio, Archbishop Peter Wells (right), congratulated Radio Veritas and its director, Fr Emil Blaser on the milestone. He said Radio Veritas’ ministry went beyond the walls of its studios and beyond its broadcast footprint.
Addressing Fr Emil, the Nuncio thanked him for his dedication to ministry even in his frail state…
The Nuncio said the witness for all and what can be learnt from Fr Emil’s dedication is never to give up, no matter the circumstances…
RADIO VERITAS RECEIVES BLESSING FROM POPE FRANCIS
As part of the celebrations, Archbishop Wells presented Radio Veritas with a framed Papal Blessing sent from Rome.
